Dr. Anna Mangano, PT, DPT
Dr. Mangano graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern in 2015. She completed a Neurological Clinical Residency program in 2017. Dr. Mangano has been certified in LSVT BIG and Parkinson's Disease for 3 years now. She is certified in Vestibular (Dizziness) Assessment and is a Board Certified Neurological Clinical Specialist.
Karen Riney, M.S. CCC/SLP
Karen graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1994 with a Master of Science in Communication Disorders. She has extensive clinical experience working with neurogenic language, cognitive/communication and swallowing disorders in a variety of settings including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, home health and outpatient. Karen has been employed as a speech-language pathologist by the Baylor Scott & White outpatient system for three years and currently serves as lead SLP in the multidisciplinary clinic in McKinney, Texas. She is also a member of BSWH’s Outpatient Leadership Team focusing on program development, education and mentoring. Karen has achieved certifications in LSVT-Loud, VitalStim and McNeil Dysphagia Treatment Program and has previously worked as a SpeechEasy provider. She has a special interest in treating communication and swallowing disorders related to Parkinson’s disease and recently started BSWH outpatient system’s first post-discharge group for patients who have completed LSVT-Loud treatment.
