April 2019 Parkinson's Awareness Luncheon & Managing Your Medications Program

In this program, several key concepts the are essential to knowing your medications will be covered. There will also be a review of strategies to keep you on schedule with taking your medications.

Michael McGiboney

The speaker will be Michael McGiboney, RPh. In August 2017 Michael was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. The diagnosis came after his role of caregiver to his father who also had Parkinson's. His experience as a pharmacist, caregiver, and patient enable him to provide a unique perspective on the treatment of Parkinson's disease. He currently manages the Vizient Pharmacy Program for children's hospitals.
After the program, several members of the Vizient pharmacy team, including several pharmacists, will be available to answer specific questions and to assist you with installing apps on your phone to assist with managing your therapy.
